About Hanstler

Cesar Zumbado, known as Hanstler, is a Costa Rican electronic engineer whose greatest passion is composing and creating electronic music.

Techno has driven his career and, in his own words, it's the best way to explain what goes through his mind and how he analyzes every situation from his autistic spectrum. With more than 14 years in the scene, he's considered one of the most prominent DJ/producers in his country.

In this new chapter he hopes his music and his essence reach the furthest corner of the underground world.

Admiring the Moog Subsequent 37 — but it isn’t made for everyone. The XONE-37 was born from that respect: to capture that thick, living flavor, where every knob and every fader brings you closer to the sound you love. No complications, no barriers. Easy to use, made to feel. The flavor, in your hands.

XONE-37 — the flavor, without the barrier

I always admired the Moog Subsequent 37. That weight, that warmth, the way a single chord fills the room. It’s a wonderful instrument… but let’s be honest: it isn’t within everyone’s reach. Its price, its size, that long curve of years of analog knowledge — not everyone can or wants to go there.

From that respect, the XONE-37 was born.

We didn’t want to copy a legend; we wanted to capture the feeling. That sense that every knob you turn, every fader you raise, brings you a little closer to that absolute flavor — thick, alive, full of character. But this time with no 80-page manual, no reaching for your card in fear, no complications.

You open it and you’re already making music. One move, and you feel it. Another, and it’s yours.

The XONE-37 is for anyone who wants that deep groove in their hands without asking permission. Easy to use, honest in its price, and with that soul that makes you want to play “just one more note.”

Because the sound you love shouldn’t be a luxury.

PLATE-140 & ECHO-201 — two legends, three knobs

It started with an obsession: two sounds that defined decades of music. The EMT 140 reverb plate — that enormous sheet of steel that made a voice float in the air. And the RE-201 Space Echo — the spinning tape that turned a dry hit into an endless, living echo.

But we didn’t want a postcard of those machines. We wanted their soul. So we went to the real engineering.

PLATE-140 recreates Jon Dattorro’s plate reverberator note for note: diffusion filters, a two-half cross-coupled tank, and seven taps per channel for that huge, decorrelated stereo. A slow LFO moves the plate just enough to erase the metallic ring — and leave only the shimmer.

ECHO-201 takes that same chassis and dresses it in steel blue. Inside, real tape: wow and flutter that make every repeat breathe, tanh saturation that warms the feedback instead of blowing it up, worn heads that darken each echo, and a ping-pong that bounces side to side. Plus a Freeze that holds the loop forever.

All that science lives inside. Outside, you’ll notice just three knobs and one button. Yes, that simple — but that effective. Because magic shouldn’t come with an 80-page manual.

The golden years’ sound. A one-second learning curve.
