Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how HANSTLER (hanstler.com) and the Xtudio-1 application (the “Service”), operated by Hanstler (Cesar Zumbado) in Costa Rica (“we”, “us”, “our”), handle your information. By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Process

• Media you provide: the video, audio and tracklist files you add to generate clips. Editing runs locally on your computer; these files are not uploaded to us.
• License key: your key identifies your entitlement and credit balance. It is sent to our backend to validate usage.
• X-Video prompts: when you use AI-video, the text prompt and any reference image you provide are sent through our backend to the AI provider to render the clip.
• Payment information: purchases are handled by PayPal. We receive a confirmation and the payer email associated with the order so we can deliver your license or credits. We do not receive your full card number.
• Social authorization (optional): if you connect a platform, the access tokens issued by that platform’s official OAuth flow are stored on your own computer. We never receive or store your passwords.

2. How Information Is Stored

Xtudio-1 is a desktop app. Your media, social tokens, and app credentials are stored on your own computer and are encrypted at rest. We do not keep a central copy of your media or social tokens. Our backend stores only what is needed to run the paid features: your license key, plan, and credit balance.

3. Third-Party AI Providers

AI-video generation is performed by third-party providers — currently Google Gemini and/or Microsoft Azure OpenAI. Your prompt (and reference image, if any) is processed by the selected provider under its own terms and privacy policy to produce your clip. AI outputs may carry an invisible provider watermark (e.g., Google SynthID) indicating the content is AI-generated. Do not send prompts containing sensitive personal information.

4. How We Use Information

• To validate your license and track your credit balance.
• To generate the clips you request (local editing and, if used, AI video).
• To deliver licenses and credits after a purchase.
• To publish content to the platforms you explicitly connect, only when you request it, using their official APIs.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Data is shared only with the providers needed to run the Service: PayPal (payments), the AI provider you use for X-Video, and any social platform you choose to publish to. Each processes your data under its own privacy policy.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Local media and tokens can be deleted at any time from within the app or by removing them from your computer. License and credit records are kept while your license is active so your entitlement works across devices and app reinstalls. You may request deletion of your license record by contacting us (note this also removes any remaining credits).

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we control by contacting us. Because the app stores most data on your own device, you can also delete it directly.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest version.
